I was commissioned to design and deliver the complete transformation of Ipswich.co.uk’s new high‑street newsroom — turning a rundown former Chinese medicine centre into a modern, multi‑purpose media space embedded in the heart of the community. My role spanned full interior design, FF&E sourcing, contractor coordination and project management, shaping both the ground‑floor transparent newsroom and the first‑floor recording studio. The design includes flexible workstations, a private booth for meetings and podcasting, and a professional live‑audience studio for events, discussions and content creation. Every element was crafted to support Ipswich.co.uk’s mission of open, community‑driven journalism, resulting in a space that is functional, future‑ready and already thriving with activity.
